Leaving my Silent Empty House

I just released this album in December 2008 together with my daughter who plays the cello.

The gentle and melodious material on ’Leaving my Silent Empty House’ is partly new, partly well-known material of my own composition except for one track. All cello arrangements are done by Josefine.

The Journey and the Dream

In December 2005 I released my first album titled "The Journey and the Dream". The album presents eleven of my own compositions for solo harp and three interpretations of traditional Irish folk melodies.

The music is calm and peaceful, melodious and harmonious. It is music for relaxation and contemplation, music that brings peace and takes you along on a journey.

General information

Trine was born in 1965 in Norway and moved to Denmark at the age of six. As a child and teenager she played the accordion and won a number of national and international prices with this instrument.

After graduating from law school and having two children, she decided to make an old dream come true: to learn to play the harp.Trine acquired her first Celtic harp in 1996. Playing and composing for the harp and working with simple expression has set free a great deal of creative energy and brought her closer to her innermost self.

She is now a professional composer and performer in many different settings. Trine plays at concerts, receptions and weddings, at church services and in hospices, rest homes and hospitals.

Her music is melodious and harmonious. She works very consciously with breathing, which is reflected in the music and makes it very relaxing.

On this album you will find a number of Trine’s own compositions and her interpretations of three traditional tunes.
